God can turn a desert into a lush oasis in the blink of an eye. Where you saw sand and bare rock and dry bones there can be teeming life. Where there was sadness there can be joy. Beauty for ashes.
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5,6.
On the other hand Satan can turn a lush oasis into a graveyard in an equal amount of time. Hell has an address and it's name is SIN. Sin is both a tyrant and a slave driver. It never stops demanding.
Sin will take you for a trip and leave you in the middle of nowhere.
