If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20.
There's a picture in my heart of a medieval broadsword. A broadsword was a heavy two edged sword which could be wielded either in one or two hands. It's definitely not a butter knife. It's not a toy either.
The meaning of it to me is this: it's time to put away our personal differences and personal preferences and rise up as one.
To be continued...
